When to choose high bay
High bay lights are built for ceilings roughly 6m and above, where a fixture needs to throw enough lumens straight down to properly light a floor from a long way up.
UFO vs linear
The round "UFO" design is the most common shape, using a wide heatsink to keep the LEDs cool over long duty cycles. Linear high bays suit aisles and racking runs.
CRI and sensor control
Look for a high CRI and daylight-matched output where colour accuracy and glare control matter, and pair with a motion sensor or contactor control to cut running costs.
