The Spitfire Emergency Light comes complete with an automatic charger, inverter module and lithium ion battery. The longer lasting lithium ion battery increases longevity, energy efficiency, safety and sustainability.
The inverter and battery power a single LED which operates in non-maintained mode (switches off when AC is supplied and switches on automatically when AC fails).
When the main supply fails, the Spitfire provides 3 hrs of illumination from a fully charged battery following a 16 hour charge. With battery overcharge prevention.
A red light emitting diode (LED) charge monitor indicates a healthy mains supply and functioning charger. A test switch to simulate a mains power failure is included for testing the emergency operation when the mains supply is healthy.
It is quick and easy to install and maintain. Perfect for shallow ceilings.
